Edgware Dental Practice has been established since 1985 and we still continue to accept new patients. Our highly experienced team has over forty years of treating patients combined.

Dr. M.L.R. Tikam
BDS (University of London, 1978)
Dr. M.L.R. Tikam obtained his Bachelor of Dental Surgery degree from Guy’s Hospital Dental School, part of the University of London, in 1978. Since graduating, he has focused exclusively on general dental practice and is the proud owner of the practice.
Dr. Tikam prefers to carry out all dental hygiene treatments himself, ensuring continuity of care while closely monitoring improvements. He is particularly skilled at caring for older patients, providing gentle, patient-focused treatment tailored to their needs.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Tikam enjoys walking and travelling.
Dr. Sarita Ramchandani
BDS Hons (King’s College London, 2007)
Dr. Sarita Ramchandani obtained her Bachelor of Dental Surgery degree with honours from King’s College London in 2007. She is passionate about cosmetic dentistry and teeth whitening, with a particular focus on restorative and aesthetic treatments.
Sarita works closely with her patients, providing informed guidance and personalised treatment plans to help them achieve a healthier, more confident smile.
Outside of dentistry, Sarita enjoys spending time with her two children, playing padel, and dancing.
Availability: Dr. Sarita is available for appointments on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays.
Dr. Meera Galaiya
BDS (Bart’s and The London, Lond) | PG Dip Aesthetic Restorative Dentistry | PG Dip Endodontics
Dr. Meera Galaiya is an enthusiastic and ethical dentist, dedicated to providing high-quality, patient-centred care. She graduated from Bart’s and The London School of Medicine and Dentistry in 2019 and has since completed postgraduate diplomas in Aesthetic Restorative Dentistry and Endodontics.
With her advanced training, Dr. Galaiya combines clinical precision with a strong aesthetic sense to deliver exceptional results. She believes that oral health is closely linked to overall wellbeing and takes the time to understand each patient’s unique needs, creating personalised treatment plans that restore function, enhance confidence, and ensure lasting comfort.

Availability: Dr. Meera is available on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays at the clinic.
Dr. Niralee Patel
BDS, BSc (King’s College London)
Dr. Niralee Patel graduated from King’s College London, where she first completed a degree in Biomedical Science before going on to study Dentistry. She is committed to providing the highest standard of dental care while ensuring her patients feel relaxed and comfortable throughout their visits.
Niralee enjoys all aspects of general dentistry, with particular interests in minimally invasive and restorative treatments. Dedicated to continuous professional development, she is currently undertaking a Diploma in Restorative and Aesthetic Dentistry to further enhance her clinical skills.
Outside of dentistry, Niralee enjoys travelling and exploring new cultures.

Dr. Geeta Sundaram
BDS (London), PhD (Eng)
Dr. Geeta Sundaram graduated from Guy’s Dental Hospital in 2000. She is committed to providing the highest standard of dental care while ensuring her patients feel relaxed and comfortable throughout their visits.
Geeta enjoys all aspects of general dentistry, with particular interests in treating children, nervous patients, and cosmetic and aesthetic restorative dentistry. Dedicated to continuous professional development, she completed her PhD at Guy’s and has undertaken postgraduate training to further enhance her clinical skills.
Outside of dentistry, Geeta enjoys reading, dancing, socialising with friends, and spending time with her two wonderful children.

Dr. Aekta Mistry
BDS (King’s College London), 2013
Dr. Aekta [Surname] qualified as a dentist from King’s College London in 2013. After completing her vocational training year, she gained valuable hospital experience as a Senior House Officer in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
With her calm and gentle approach, Aekta is dedicated to ensuring every patient feels at ease during their visit. Her additional training in conscious sedation enables her to care for anxious and nervous patients with confidence and compassion.
Committed to continuous professional development, Aekta has completed an Advanced Cosmetic and Restorative Dentistry course with Aspire Dental Academy in London. She has a particular passion for aesthetic dentistry and refined her skills in direct anterior restorations (white fillings) in Italy, training under world-renowned clinician Dr. Lorenzo Vanini.
Outside of dentistry, Aekta enjoys travelling, practising yoga, and creating acrylic paintings.
